🤠 A Saturday at Vaqueros Country Music Festival 2026 – Blackpool’s Winter Country Party!

Last weekend we headed to the iconic Grand Hotel Blackpool for the much-anticipated Vaqueros Country Music Festival — and what a fantastic Saturday it was!

Running from 13th–15th February 2026, Vaqueros brought three full days of live country music, dancing and western style to the Lancashire coast. We joined the action for the Saturday — and from the moment we walked in, the energy was something special.

🎶 Live Music & Proper Country Atmosphere

The live acts throughout the day delivered everything from classic country favourites to modern Nashville-inspired hits. The sound filled the ballroom and had boots tapping from the first set.

What we love most about Vaqueros is the balance, it’s intimate enough to feel friendly and welcoming, yet big enough to bring that proper festival buzz. Everywhere you looked, people were smiling, singing along and catching up with friends old and new.

💃 Custom Line Dance Floor in Full Swing

One of the standout features of the weekend is the custom line dance floor and on Saturday it was rarely empty!

Line dancers of all levels took to the floor throughout the day. From well-rehearsed routines to beginners giving it a go for the first time, it perfectly captured what the country community is all about — inclusivity, fun and not taking yourself too seriously.

There’s something brilliant about seeing rows of dancers moving in sync under the lights. If you’ve never experienced it, it’s definitely one to add to your calendar next year.

👢 Western Style Done Right

Of course, we couldn’t help but notice the fashion!

Blackpool was full of:

• Cowboy boots (the more detailed, the better!)

• Western belts paired with denim and statement buckles

• Fringe, embroidery and classic checked shirts

• Hats of every shape and shade

It’s always a pleasure spotting festival-goers embracing authentic western style. Events like Vaqueros are the perfect excuse to go all out, and we love seeing how everyone makes the look their own.
